Here’s Why You’re Constantly Tired: You Sleep Enough, But You’re Still Sleepy? Here’s What It Means

Frequent fatigue can really exhaust the organism and it can sometimes occur even when a person sleeps enough. Additionally, what’s even more frustrating than the feeling of tiredness is the fact that we’re often unaware of the reason why we feel tired. Hence, you sleep eight hours in a dark room which is not too warm or too hot and you go to sleep every day at approximately the same time, but, nonetheless, the fatigue doesn’t go away. What seems to be the issue?

Namely, your diet, physical condition, and hormone levels play an important role in your level of energy and when one of these aspects is out of balance, tiredness takes place. Take a look at some of these things that can significantly alter your energy levels:

  • Too much coffee

Coffee is an excellent source of antioxidants and it’s generally considered to be a healthy drink (when consumed moderately). However, when a person consumes too much coffee, the body adjusts to that amount. And, lowering this amount could result in morning fatigue. Moreover, when you feel lack of energy during the day, you’ll probably reach for another cup, and thus, you cannot get out of the vicious circle. This disrupts your sleep without you even noticing it.

  • Hormonal misbalance

Although hormonal misbalance is a common notion nowadays, it’s difficult to diagnose and treat it. The adrenal glands produce hormones and when we’re too stressed, these functions became misbalanced. Often times, we don’t even realize we’re stressed as stress is known to manifest in a physical way, for example, through fatigue. Fatigue is a direct consequence of dehydration and the first among many others. Therefore, try to drink the recommended daily amount of water.

  • Poor physical condition
